Example: Users, Orgs, and Memberships

Q: I’m working on an application for families. Each family member will need their own account, but I also need to tie all family members together.
What would be the best way to approach this with AuthRocket?

A: We would suggest using an Org for each family as a way to tie the family members together. Then each family member would be a separate User (separate account). Use Memberships to associate Users (family members) to the Orgs (families).

If you need to identify attributes of each family member (father, mother, head of household, etc), try adding those as ‘permissions’ on each Membership.
